A piece I wrote for my marching band (Axiom Performing Arts) for the 2026 season. It is based on the situation going on in Minneapolis with ICE at the time. It outlines the story from unease to fear to ultimately the three shots fired into an innocent woman.
This piece is 4 movements long featuring a variety of solos, the most notable being the soprano solo at the end of Movement 4. This is a moderately difficult piece to play and teach entirely due to its vast array of difficult rhythms.
