I wrote this piece for my marching band (Axiom Performing Arts) for the 2026 season. It is based on the situation going on in Minneapolis with ICE at the time. It is four movements outlining the story from unease to fear to ultimately the three shots fired into an innocent woman.
This piece was originally written for the Young Composers Challenge. It is an homage to the Lakota prophecy of the White Buffalo. In their culture, a white buffalo born in the wild represents a rebirth, ushering in a time of rebalancing. In 2021, I visited the Lakota Reservation at Wounded Knee and learned a lot about their trials. I asked what I could do to help and my Lakota friends said, Tell our stories. This is my effort.
This was my first attempt at writing a piece to visual media. It is a re-score of the intro sequence of the Tin Tin movie. It currently does not have a reasonable orchestration for performance but a big band arrangement, as well as a wind ensemble arrangement, are in the works.
This piece was originally written for the Arnies Quartet while I was studying in the HSCI at the Berklee school of music in Boston. It is a exploration of the different meanings and implications of the word breathless.
This is a piece that I wrote after listening to the Helldivers 2 soundtrack and wanting to do something similar. This piece has a nonviable orchestration and is really only an exploration of a more "epic" style.
This is a piece that I composed for the Anderson Beginner Orchestra when I was a member just starting to learn the cello. This was the first piece of mine that was played by real musicians. This piece is playable by intermediate string orchestras.
A short duet I originally composed for a duo at Berklee School of Music in Boston. This piece came to symbolize the process of a bird creating a safe space for their young to spend their first stage of their journey.
Still a work in Progress, This song is the first of my tracks contributed to my jazz fusion group's first album (in progress).
